Many children and adults fall prey to nasty mosquito bites, during these warm months, which are not only annoying but can create health problems as well. Suzy Cohen, my favorite Pharmacist and holistic supporter, recently noted that a lack of B vitamins within a person’s daily regimen may help attract mosquitoes to them. It is important to have a good B Complex vitamin that has methylated forms of B in its supplement listings. Methylation is the key component necessary for almost all of our body’s proper functioning. Eating “sweet” foods, like bananas, may also attract insects. Hope this helps in avoiding those nasty bites.
